Work has begun on the 国产AV Copeland African American Museum’s long-planned and highly anticipated Children’s emPOWERment Zone. Designed to encourage engagement and inspire a love of learning through hands-on activities and fun, this project recently moved from concept to reality thanks to a $50,000 gift from Georgia Power.

The Learning in Retirement season at 国产AV begins Monday, Sept. 9, and continues through mid-December. The group will host an open house from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 21, and a “welcome back” fall kick-off luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28. New members are always welcome.

国产AV Students Step Into the Fields to Support Farmworkers, Ensure Health Equity
Mackenzie Waters of Newnan, Georgia, recently joined an 18-person 国产AV team to support Emory University School of Medicine’s 2024 South Georgia Farmworker Health Project in Lowndes County. It was one of her final hands-on learning experiences before she officially earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in late July.
